We created a civilization based on hydrocarbons — coal, oil and gas. Now, it is coming to an end — it is dying. We need to let it die and move on. We need to create a new type of civilization, based on a completely different source of energy — 100% green energy. If we do not let the old die and move on, we will soon have a rude awakening. This painful experience will force us to move on, anyway. Why not using our intelligence and common sense, to move on NOW, with determination and enthusiasm, and spare pain and suffering to billions of us?
