Why isn’t the Gakkel Ridge spoke about more as the reason for any Artic Ice Melt and ice melt in Greeland?

This is now, without any dispute, the scientific proven reason for premature ice melt in the artic and in Greenland yet the UN, Al Gore and others in the global warming movement never mention. Is it because they have not learned about it yet or is it because they want to hide it from the rest of the world’s inquiring minds? Beyond doubt this phenomenon is now the documented reason for any warming yet the media is not covering it yet? Do you believe any major news organization is going to eventually publicize this anytime soon?

Chewy – what are you talking about with the South Pole? This year the South Pole has record snow fall and ice build up? You cannot be talking about the South Pole because what you say is 100% contradiction to the facts which is the South Pole is getting larger not smaller. I don’t know what you are talking about and where you are getting your data?
Spike- pardon me but where in my question did I mentioned the word “climate change”? I mentioned global warming and ice melt. Global Warming and Climate Change are two entirely two different topics. The Gakkel Ridge is warm waters emitted by volcanic activity which was discovered not too long ago and the warm water is making some ice melt. You are talking about something, a theory nonetheless, of something taking place on top of the surface and global warming is the topic, not climate change and further, there is no climate change with the exception that in the last 10 years the earth has dropped .6 tenths of one degree, not warmed up.

That’s very interesting. But what does an underwater volcano have to do with climate change? I see nothing in that story to give any indication that there’s any relationship between them. And why would anyone hide anything? Sounds a bit paranoid to me.
First of all, climate science isn’t advanced enough make such a claim without any dispute. Scientific discoveries are constantly being disputed.
Secondly, the Gakkel Ridge doesn’t explain why similar levels of ice melt are observed at the South Pole and else where in the world. Glacier National Park almost has almost no glaciers left, and the snows of Kilaminjaro are nearly gone.
Trust me on this. If God descended from heaven in a fiery chariot with a host of angles and pronounced that Global Warming was a hoax. They would argue with him. And I am not even a believer. I am just saying they are that fanatical. So a mere bit of empirical evidence is not going to change anything.
They know what they believe and any facts that don;t support their position are just wrong (blasphemy) as far as they are concerned.
