How Much Money Would Americans Save From Solar, Wind, New Automobile, And Hydrological Technologies?
Think About it…
Houses that pull in their own solar power & electricity from the sun.
An electric car that plugs into the same household outlets, and doesn’t need to be filled up with gas.
A well or underground cistern that collects & filters rain water for use.
1. No Electric Bill
2. No Gas Bill
3. No Water Bill
If the technology was installed & paid for, how much money would you save?
Ok… I’m asking how much would people… Americans save in money & financial terms today in this day & age “If” the technology was all “paid” for and installed already….
And if they didn’t have to pay those energy & fuel bills.
Maybe the question clearer for some people now?

None – Power corporations are still going to own the wind turbines, hydro damns, and to a small extent solar panels.
They will still sell you the electricity, probably at a higher price since oil and gas was so very cheep.
We can not assume there would be dollar savings without knowing the altered price of fuels. If we were to get very low cost fuels, there might be no savings. And how do we estimate savings when we can only say high for the price?
A house can get all of its power from solar. The house would need power to recharge the batteries in the electric car. The house would also need power to run a pump go get the water out of the well and filter it.
How much money would the homeowner saved. The homeowner would save the money for the electric bill, water bill, gas bill. That varies from house to house.
Converting a house to total solar is expensive and risky. The risk is what happens when its cloudy and/or rainy for a week. There will not be enough solar power to power the house and car. Therefore, most of the solar homes have backup generators or still get some power from the electric utility grid.
It will take the homeowner at least 10+ years to recoup the investment in solar. So you must be certain you’re not going to relocate before you convert to solar.
Not much for me; maybe $25 per month. I just pay the minimum for utilities already since I don’t waste much.
